Virgin's Bower/White Clematis (Clematis ligusticifolia)

It should not be used without boiling it first, since it has toxic properties if used either
external or internally. After having boiled it, it can be used externally, as a poultice mixed
with olive oil, to relieve itching and/or mild pain in the affected area. If the person's skin
is too oily, it can be mixed with alcohol, instead of oil. Internally, after having boiled it for
at least 10 minutes, it can be used as a medicine (to be drunk in small amounts, never as
a tea), with diuretic and analgesic effects. Not to be consumed as food.
