Alpine Forget-me-not (Eritrichium nanum)
The entire plant is edible, with astringent properties--it might have a little bitter
flavor, though. In order to make it more palatable, it can be boiled, sautéed, or
added to a stew. Externally, it can be used as a poultice on wounds or sore spots,
which will help them heal faster because of its astringent properties (it contracts
tissues, reducing bleeding).
