Antelope Bitterbrush (Purshia tridentata)

Even though good for cattle, if consumed internally, it is mildly
toxic to humans, with laxative and emetic effects. It, therefore,
helps to clean the digestive system, but do not consume in large
amounts or often. When used externally, especially as a poultice,
it is useful for minor cuts, bruises, itches, insect bites, and rashes.
When dried, it works well as kindling.
