Big Sage (Artemisia Tridentata)

A tea made with the leaves can be used to fight digestive system issues, fevers, pneumonia, colds,
bronchitis, sore throats, and bad breath. It can also be used as an antiseptic wash for cuts, wounds
and sores. You can boil the plant in water and slowly inhale the vapors to ease respiratory system
problems. It can be used externally to ease joints related pain. The leaves are antibacterial and antifungal
--they contain camphor. The leaves and stems can be burnt in a small container in the house in order
to disinfect the latter. Pregnant women shouldn't use this plant as it can give place to a miscarriage.
