Rocky Mountain/Bracted Alumroot (Heuchera bracteata)

A component of the Saxifrage Family, it has astringent properties, and is useful to fight
diarrhea, hemorrhages, sore mouths and throats (wash or gargle for this purpose).
Internally, you can brew it as you would tea; externally, you can make a poultice and
apply to the affected area.
As you can see in the pictures, the flowers grow mostly in one-sided clusters. The red
clusters are the previous year's.
