Everlasting, Pearly (Anaphalis margaritacea)

The flowers can make a good tea to drink--or to use externally as an eye wash. If the latter option is
chosen, it should be administered as drops (make sure the tea is warm, not hot). Some people eat the
flowers raw; others use them as perfume by rubbing them on the skin. The leaves are edible too (cook
them, though). A poultice can be used to treat bruises, sprains, swellings, or painful joints. It has antiseptic,
expectorant, astringent, and sedative properties.
