Marsh Marigold (Caltha leptosepala)

It is mildly toxic; therefore, its ingestion is not advisable. If you don't have anything else
around to eat safely, soak the leaves in water overnight; then, the following morning,
rinse them, throwing the water away, and proceed to boil them 2 or 3 times, changing
the water each time. Now, they are ready. However, be aware that this plant has emetic
properties--don't eat too much or you will regret it.
