Mountain Candytuft (Noccaea montanum)
The entire plant is edible, either raw or cooked. It aids to improve stomach issues.
Typical of the mustard family, each flower has 4 petals, 4 sepals, and 6 stamen (4 long
and 2 short). It is one of the first flowers to bloom after winter in the Rockies. Pasque
Flower, Sagebrush Buttercup, and Creeping Barberry are early risers as well.
