Pineapple Weed/Wild Chamomile (Matricaria discoidea/Matricaria matricarioides)
to the point of calling it "wild chamomile." The confusion is understandable.
The leaves are similar to those of chamomile, but much shorter; the smell is
also similar, but milder. It also has sedative and anti-bacterial properties, but
not as effective. However, Pineapple Weed flower/floret heads lack ray flowers
and the disk florets are greenish with just hints of yellow.
