Common/Small-leaf Pussytoes (Antennaria parvifolia)
Edible. It might help to clean the liver and relieve coughs, colds,
and pulmonary inflammations. It was used by American Indians
as an anti-rheumatic, anti-inflammatory, and blood purifier. In
the past, they used it as chewing tobacco. The plants are either
male or female (dioecious, from the Latin term "dioecia," and the
Greek "dis-oikos"--double houses).
