Rocky Mountain Cedar/Juniper (Juniperus scopulorum )
A cup of tea made with leaves, twigs, and/or berries taken 2 or 3 times/day can help
to stop vomiting, and to relieve diarrhea, stomach aches, colds, sore throats, and
fevers. A poultice can be made to clean superficial wounds, as well as to alleviate
backaches and arthritis. In general, it is useful to fight bacterial infections. We don't
recommend to use any part of the tree as food.
The dry twigs make an excellent fire starter (make sure they are really dry).
