Prairie Spiderwort (Tradescantia occidentalis/virginiana)

The entire plant is edible. When consumed internally, it has mild sedative/analgesic
properties. It can also be used to overcome diarrhea. Externally, as a poultice, it can
be used to help superficial wounds get better.
