Strawberry Blite/S. Spinach/ S. Goosefeet , Indian Paint, Indian Ink
The entire plant is edible, both cooked or raw; however, if the latter option is chosen, it should
be eaten with moderation, because it can aid in the creation of kidney stones. A tea can be made
with the leaves, soak a clean cloth with it, and apply to sore or tired eyes. As some of the names
indicate, it can also be used as a dye, ink, paint, or food coloring. It makes a nice ornamental
plant too. It is rich in vitamins C and A.
