Wild Teasel (Dipsacus sylvestris/fullonum)

The leaves and the roots are edible. The roots can be used for healing from Lyme disease.
It is a diuretic. It improves the condition of the respiratory system and stimulates the appetite.
It contains inulin, which increases calcium absorption and promotes the growth of beneficial
intestinal bacteria. However, it can lead to gas and bloating. Even though it is mildly sweet, it
is considered suitable for diabetics.
