Yucca glauca

The entire plant can be eaten raw or cooked. It is used as an anti-inflammatory, pain reliever, and blood
purifier, helping to clean kidneys and liver. Soap can be made by pounding the roots; thread and needle
can be made of one of the leaves. When dried, it could also be used to start a fire by friction. Natives from
the Americas (North, Central, and South) used this plant to make baskets and mats.
